Saw a few MD’s and a Physical Therapist who…
“I Figured I would just have to live with it.”
In February of 2004 I was working out, lifting weights, when I heard a “pop” in the front of my chest. At first I didn’t think much about it, I just thought it was a sign of me getting older. When the pain didn’t go away I decided something needed to be done. I saw a couple of MD’s to try and figure out what was wrong, but they couldn’t seem to find anything. They Took x-rays and sent me to physical therapy. The therapy helped some, but I was still not able to workout like I used to. I figured I would just have to live in discomfort.
In June 2005, Dr. Michals joined a networking group that I was in, so I decided to give him a try. I had never been to a chiropractor before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The first time I went to Dr. Michals’ office he did an exam and took some x-rays of my spine. He then informed me that I had some “Subluxations” in my spine and began adjusting me on a regular basis to get the bones moving correctly again.
After a few months of regular adjustments everything is feeling much better. My ribs no longer hurt, I have less stiffness in my back and I feel more flexible than before. Thanks to Dr. Michals and Chiropractic care I am back to doing the things I love. I am able to rollerblade and ride my motorcycles without any trouble. I have even begun to workout again with no pain or discomfort in the chest. If you ask me, regular chiropractic care is a must for everyone!!! Things that you think are just “normal” part of life: getting old, stiffness, etc… may just be a sign of needing to keep your spine aligned and moving.
